- No customer application files are opened unless requested by the customer. We only modify operating system (Windows) configuration files. Files are moved and optimized for fastest access but are not opened or viewed.
- All data is transmitted over the Internet with SSL 256 bit encryption. This is the same high level of security used by the banking industry.
- Tech-Toads has earned the Web Site Secure Certificate, verifying that all data is secure and protected with the most sophisticated encryption.
- When connected on-line, every step performed by a Tech-Toad technician is displayed on the customer’s screen.
- The customer must grant access to their computer. When the session is done, the access program deletes itself and no further access is possible without the customer granting access. The customer controls access to their computer and can terminate the session at any time.
- Every command from the on-line service session is captured and sent with the follow-up email when service is complete.
